So who is going to watch, or be forced to watch, thee wedding?

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Thankfully I don't have a TV so I am spared the whole disgusting spectacle.

Not watching, thank you.
Quite fond of him, somehow, but do not care about her and the wedding.

Cheers,
Slug

I watched some of it, and I am probably the person on earth who cares the least. But it was on while I was getting ready for work.

It was lovely.

I'm no fan of the royal family, or the persistence of the institution in the modern world, but the English folks seem to like it so why should I care?

But Harry seems a good bloke and he's got himself a looker and they both seem really happy so what's to dislike here? Good on 'em.

The guests though all looked like they'd rather be anywhere else, but I suspect were mostly trying to look unimpressed and thinking about why SHE was invited when looking at the others in attendance.

No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Saw a bit of it - not that fussed but don't have an issue with them at all - they always put on a good show at least.

Saw him and his brother, walking to the Church in their uniforms and I'll have to say, the British military does have some sharp looking, dress uniforms.

Are they standard military issue or some kind of royal family getup?

They do look though, you have to be in shape to do them justice.

It’s our number one dress uniform or “blues”, every regiment has them, they just may be slightly different dependent on the regiment.

I watched it and thought t was good, I like the royal family and all the ceremonies, people are quick to begrudge the cost to the tax payer, without appreciating the tourism they bring in etc.

Just my humble opinion,

I really admire and respect Harry for his character and his combat service in Afghanistan.

As for royalty in general, I’ll just say that I’m glad my country dumped it in 1776.

No hard feelings though to our friends in Old Blighty. smile

You still do just not with King, Queen, Prince, Princess, Duke, Baron..... preceding their name.

I stopped caring about royal weddings about 1776.

The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events.

What uniform was Harry wearing ? It was rather understated. Seemed to have several flaps from each side of the jacket that were just loose toward the center.

Can anybody tell me about it ?

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

I watched it.
It was a fun break from the usual routine of TV political wingnuts, low class reality "stars", marginal talent singing competitions, and multi millionaires playing repetitive games.
It was the best thing on TV this weekend by far, which is not saying much.
Besides it should be about 20 years till the next big Royal wedding.
