If you like winding roads we got the Dragon's Tail just a little to the west of here.
The Dragon's Tail The most dangerous part of it is people looking at the trees instead of the road.

I seen a video of that road done by a guy who strapped a drone to the back of his bike and used the gimbal on the drone to steady the shot it was quite well done, and it looks like a great drive. Where I used to live and where I now have an apartment there is a road like that that follows the shore of the 25miles of Loch Lomond, I've done it on a few bikes but it was exhilarating on a GSXR1100.

This is near the top of Stelvio, the car is about 1 week old and I'm taking it up to 2800m (9200ft) in the Alps, it was on the last day the pass is officially open on 15th October 2007

As for ships, I don't think the ferry moves that much either but she is only 31,000GRT ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_King_Seaways ) If there is the slightest hint of a swell then I am sent to the purser for an anti seasick pill and the wife sleeps through the crossing
At least the cabins are nice smile with friends coming over from Belgium to do a motorcycle tour of Scotland with myself and the wife as tour guides (my wife is on the left)

I guess she is thinking about the crossing..... biggrin

I spent most of my youth in with some connection with the sea, and I trained as a radar technician with Decca Radar.

The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in
Gives way and suddenly it’s day again
The sun is in the east
Even though the day is done
Two suns in the sunset, hmph
Could be the human race is run
