There are 40+ playable vehicles modeled, including armor. Don't ignore this one!

So far, one of the best WWII game I have ever seen.
Yet, I'll have a better opinion when I can play it. Hence, I wonder impatiently when.

Normally I loathe and avoid anything to do with on line only game play. I am going to make an exception here and get the supporters version.

Late to the boat, but very intrigued by PS. Is it worth getting the Supporter package? I see that package includes early access to the 101st airborne division. Have the May weekend dates already been announced?

Not yet, but welcome to the waiting room.
The magazines are on the table close to the door.
None of the supporter package owners have been invited to play at this time.

Can you just clear up one thing for me? Are Post Scriptum and Hell let loose the same game?

Both based on Operation Market Garden.

HLL seems a bit more "fast paced".

Hmmm...
I was under the impression only Post Scriptum was [Market Garden], HLL is Normandy '44 without the beach landings, primarily the bocage and the push in.

I could be entirely wrong tho :-P

Cheers,
Slug

HLL is whole Westfront, by release also some snow in the ardennen and later stuff also East Front..but what i have seen/read HLL needs at least 1 year for the first release coming out.

Post Scriptum is for now only "Marked Garden" but could be expanding too to more theatres if successfull. Should be ready end of Spring this year.

Weekend playtest - status update #2
MAY 13 - =BOB=BREIZHOO
Road to the weekend playtest - Status update #2

Hello dear followers,

The first half of May is almost complete as we are getting dangerously close to the time you will be able to playtest Post Scriptum.
The team is still working very hard on our "Offworld Core A11" upgrade and things are a bit more complicated than we originally anticipated and new issues have arisen in some unexpected ways.
The old build we used during the playtest in April with content creators remains to this day the most stable build that we have.

Here is a little overview of the issues we are currently experiencing and that we want solved before you can enjoy Post Scriptum in the best conditions possible.

From Offworld Core A10 to A11:

Current Pros:
-Players experienced better frames per second
-Penetration system on tanks with ricochet and damage on internal components (aka: "VDM1" Vehicle Damage Model part 1)
-Reworked UI, very close to final, still a few things to complete
-Reworked lighting which make the maps look much better

Current Cons:
-Vehicle behaviour is heavily unpredictable (This is the unexpected part of the upgrade)
- Paradoxically, some players also experienced worse frames than before, we need to spend more time to figure this one out to make sure all PCs have the same experience.

As you already know, we are planning Post Scriptum weekend playtest to be going live possibly during the third and fourth weekend of May.
The third weekend of May on A11 build is most likely to be compromised by those cons we liste above as they are very close to game breaking and we do not wish the public to have their first experience with PS under those conditions.

Stay tuned, as soon as those two majors issues are fixed PS will become available to you!!
Thanks for your support, we'll see you on the battlefield soon!

Periscope Games team.

Weekend playtest goes live tomorrow (Saturday 26th May) at 0800hrs UTC

It can be pre-loaded now and apparently some people are managing to play a local single player mode that can be demo'd before it all goes live tomorrow morning

In your Steam Library, you should see a second Post Scriptum listing - Post Scriptum-Test Server.

Clicking on that installs the playtest version.

After a little play. BF fans are gonna hate it. Rambo IS NOT in the house. Squad play and coordination between armor and infantry is really important to success.

If you are waiting for a key, these are being released in a staggered distribution. Seems a bad way of doing it because there could be people buying on Steam today and getting instant access.

I feel for you, impressions are great so far and as an indication of performance I'm playing in 4K with a 4.8GHz 6700k CPU, 32 GB RAM, GTX1080 GPU with everything maxed out and getting 25-35fps

Yep, traversing the map takes time and it's all pointless taking vehicles/armour unless you have all positions manned. I've only had a quick scout around but need to map my mouse properly will try and put some proper time into it tonight. The foliage is great and provides excellent cover.
