Do any of you listen to any TV show soundtracks? I realize that probably about 90% of tv shows out there all use the same kind of generic music that they can pull from an already established catalog but there are a few notable exceptions in my opinion:

I sometimes get nostalgic and have a YT session looking at the old shows I used to watch. Other than that I don't own any actual TV show music media.

Christopher Franke's Babylon 5 soundtrack.

Excellent pick! The music for B5 really is brilliant.

my top 5:

- Bear McCreary's Black Sails: love the way he used old instruments and mixed them with his trademark's percussion-based music
- Netflix Daredevil
- Sherlock (BBC)
- ST: Discovery
and of course.... Firefly!

Right now the only other composer who comes close to Bear McCreary when it comes to scoring tv shows is Ramin Djawadi.
