Captains,
In case you missed out. Off Subsim :

[Cold Waters version 1.12 is now available as an open beta and is a major update containing the full South China Sea campaign. Seawolf, Los Angeles Flight 2 and Los Angeles Flight 3 submarines are now also available as playable submarines.

To opt in to the beta:
Right click the Cold Waters in Steam library, go to properties and you should have new "BETAS" tab added, then use the pulldown to select the beta you would like to opt into -leave the early access code empty- and the new update should download. When you run the game the version number should read version 1.12.]

I have given up on posting pics here. Always end up post stamp size.

The South China Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the Red Commies and the Blue Nationalists.
This is home biggrin

Installing now.

Cheers,
Slug

Seawolf!!!

One good mission so far.

Had to delete my override folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets) to get mine to work because of mod installed I guess.

I do miss the VLS in the Mod Flight III. Not sure if this one has it in the 688 FL III.

LOTS of tubes though.

Yep. It's pretty darn hard to launch 8 TLAM's at a target (although it was at night and looked like Miami Beach. I had some fun imagining I was blowing up Madonna's, or some other "star"'s house with a TLAM)

Dodging two air assets with tons of sonobuoys and at least 4 torps in 150' of water????

Pretty silly that I ended up at 25kts on the surface cause I was so full of holes. Air assets do run out of weapons I can confirm, although fixed wing has TONS of sonobuoys. If they run out of fuel it must take forever. They kept bombing me with sonobuoys and the helo kept getting in front of me..could have shot him down with a pistol.

Got tired of it and gave up. Will try again later.

I am only just getting into this game. Loving it so far. The wire guidance could do with a bit more realism though but otherwise, top notch
