The deceased passenger was in fact wearing her safety belt when she was partially pulled through the broken window opening.

Wow. Some great work there. I hope (god forbid) if I'm ever on a plane with an emergency like that that I have a pilot that calm and competent.

Really curious exactly what happened with the one poor passenger that didn't make it (beyond "partially sucked out a window")...
