Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet.
I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

Thank goodness!

I can use this money, as there seems to be a problem getting at the TEN MILLION USA DOLLARS that Ori Gato from the Nigerian oil ministry knows about. Various fees and stuff. You know, modalities.

Yahoo was hacked over 3 years ago and millions of users had their personal emails and contacts stolen. I'm surprised you're still using them.

It's a spam email account. I use it for all my viagra needs and to meet hot singles in my area smile So I'm used to those ads. This one was new.

I'm guessing Dart is in good contact with that Nigerian prince coz I've stopped getting those emails for a while now biggrin

They can look most authentic, and there is always some small detail that reveals them as a scam.
For example, just had a PayPal one that finishes 'best regard', and one recently from HMRC (Tax revenue) finishing with 'best wishes' words which I'm sure is not in the taxman's vocabulary!

Still awaiting a receipt for monies sent as 'gesture of goodwill' sent to 'Yasser Arafat's widow' and the marine that found 'millions of dollars in the hole where he found Saddam'. smile

Sad thing is, that these and mainly postal scams are targeted at the elderly who retain some degree of trust.

It came from the FBI, so surely that has got to be legit. Although a bit surprised the Bureau seem to be selective in compensating people scammed rather than all and use Yahoo for their email domain. hahaha

Well you know, budget cuts and all. Yahoo charges really cheap to host email services.

David, since the UNCC was created to award damages to those that suffered loss in the '91 Gulf War, I didn't realize you had assets in that area that were damaged/affected back almost 20 years ago!
Wow, you should use that ATM right now.

The sad part is that those red flags that pop up quite clearly for us --- Yahoo email address, Western Union payment, spelling/grammar errors, etc --- don't do so for a lot of other people. There must still be some good business doing this scam; ironic how it's warning you about other scams as well.

It never occurred to me before and for those that may not have encountered him, James Veitch, a British comedian, offers an interesting approach to deal with spammers...

He also has some other videos that are extremely amusing too. Have a look for the one about the room mate and the ducks.

Like the fishing mail posted above, I have yet to seen one, which does not contain numerous grammatical and spelling errors.
