Did you not see how a few games ago Sidney managed to air slap a pick from a rebound off the goalie back into the goal. Dude is a machine. Never bet against Crosby! Granted Crosby is a complete #%&*$#... but he can play!

Im still angry about them letting Fleury get drafted into the VGK. That man is also a machine!

in my works pool I'm picking Nashville to go all the way.

I thought Toronto would beat my Bruins just based on history of how Rask plays, but for game 1 it wasn't even close for Boston..

Predators lead series 2-0 over Avalanche
Golden Knights lead series 2-0 over Kings
Jets lead series 2-0 over Wild
Sharks lead series 2-0 over Ducks

Lightning lead series 2-0 over Devils
Blue Jackets lead series 1-0 over Caps
Bruins lead series 2-0 over Leafs
Pit-Phi series tied 1-1

TG In G1 it looked like it would be a hard fought series for a short time, but then a blowout and then another blowout in G2.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Not really a sharks fan but I thought this was a funny gift to give their ticket holders.

Man, the Leafs looked uninspired in game 4. Hard to watch. Thankfully there is a NASCAR race Saturday night as well. I can channel flip. Auston Matthews has been a non factor, I'm wondering if he is hurt.
Nobody care about a 105 point season if you bow out early in the playoffs.

I wish they would go back to the old playoff brackets of 1 plays 8, 2 plays 7, 3 plays 6, and 4 plays 5. The Leafs drew a very tough first round match up. They did look flat in game 4. It will be interesting to see who is still on that team next season.

At least they made the playoffs. The Red Wings are dead in the water, and will be for another decade.

I prefer the old 1 to 8 seeding. The division standings matters all year, yet a wild card team can actually win a division they are not even in, in the playoffs ??

Just another reason why Gary Bettman gets booed at every arena in the league, every time. There was no reason at all to change the brackets.

I am not making an excuse for the Leafs. Playoffs mean, nut up and play who you have to.

The Jets are hot. If the Leafs were uninspired then the Wild were totally flat last night.

Colorado looks to be the most improved team of the year. The last 5 minutes of that game last night was crazy. Nashville will still win the series, but the Avs aren't going down easy.

I have said it before, but (IMHO) the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs is the best of all sporting events.

Yup great hockey to watch

Glad the Jets won, and hope Colorado takes Nashville to 7 games, all games going into double or triple overtime smile

Pens in 6, which was my secret prediction beforehand. Well, at least the Flyers made it in this year. See you next season!

No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Jets vs. Preds should be the Western Conference final. Bruins vs. Lightning should have been the Eastern Conference final. But I hate change. biggrin

Great game tonight. Looks like I was wrong about the Leafs and the Capitals. Good thing I don't put any real money down on these games.
