I have a desktop computer with 19 different devices either plugged into the USB slots at the back of the motherboard, or connected to two internal PCI-E USB 3.0 cards from Inateck or connected to a 10 port powered USB 3.0 hub. That includes a mouse, keyboard, webcam, Track IR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, etc.... Currently, for testing I only have three flight sim controllers connected to the computer, one Warthog stick, one CH Pro Throttle and one VKB pedal set. The problem is that in IL2 1946, FSX or DCS, once I assign all the controls everything is great as long as I do not restart my computer. Once I do though, the computer keeps switching the IDs of the controllers around. So one time when I start up FSX, the CH Pro Throttle might be called ID3 by the computer, and when I restart the computer the next morning, it might be reassigned to ID2. Obviously this means that I have to go back and reassign all the commands again to every single hat, button or switch (arrrgh). Anyone know how I can stop Windows 10 64 bit from continually reassigning the ID numbers of the controllers and USB devices?
