I am new to this game and have a question ab out a problem I am having.

I go to shut the game down, I click on the [X] in the launcher and it goes gray. The scribes says" background shutting down, please wait" But it never closes. I force the close through task manager.

Then if you go to the shortcut to re-launch the game, it says another game is running.

Is there a way to close it completely or change something? I did not have a problem until the Kuban install.

When I run "Mods" on mode I have trouble shutting Box down. When I click exit then click yes, it goes to a black screen that will never close. If I push the Windows key on my keyboard it will show an Error box and I click ok and then Box shuts down entirely. I haven't tried Box without "Mods" on mode since 3.001 so I am not sure if it is a game wide problem for me or just a "Mods" on mode problem.

I used to get that problem (although I've never run mods). The answer was to run in full windowed mode. I think there is an option under graphics settings to set full screen off. Worth a try.

Can by-pass the Launcher making a shortcut direct for IL2.exe in game folder.
