I am going to remake all my 30 or so DCS Spitfire skins I made recently - this is going to be the first:

I reworked the excellent template that released and this is the my base template that I'll use

the specular alpha template is still set for a clean template, as I weather it, it will become more matt.

I like them all, but me personally, I like the matte finish the best. I have always thought the wings of all planes in BOX with the wet look is very much overdone. A hint of shine yes, but always looking wet, no, IMHO. Nice job Sir.

smile it is a beauty and one of my favorites in Il-2.

I've tweaked it so that it tones down the reflection while preserving shine and a matt surface

I now have the Spitfire MK5, and it will soon have the words "Lady Ellen III" written on the side of it's nose.
