HI Guys, used to be on this board along time ago. Really want to get back into Falcon 4 BMS and just realized I don't have a gameport and its not supported with Win 10. Any ideas...what are you all using now?

Is perfectly possible and relatively cheap modernize your FLCS HOTAS, for example with a $7 Arduino PRO Micro and MMjoy2 firmware (free).

Is not difficult for DIY oriented persons, but is a bit laborious job, don't know if someone do this for other persons - maybe some guys in IL-2.ru (Russian) forum, but shipping cost may make this option uninteresting (1). Some parts like PCB's and sensor ready to use for this conversion can be ordered online.

Before all, some considerations:

The pressure "slew" of TQS need be replaced with an analog mini-stick (axes) or conventional 4/5 way HAT, this device is a serial mouse and is not support be alternative firmware's available.

After this conversion you don't need drivers for install in Windows, the controllers became "plug and play" using Windows native HID drivers.

But you are not longer able to use Thrustmaster software (Fox, etc), for the case that don't are able to live without that "press joy buttons to press keyboard keys, to send command for games", an alternative is jJoystick Gremlin, with similar functions.

In modern games is viable map commands direct in game GUI, what has vantages and disadvantages.

(1) Anyway an option for throttle, order from GVL224 a base ready for use your TQS grip, similar to this - but without the transparent case (show case).

Most of pictures show multi levers throttles, but this is users options, as most of then want a throttle for use in IL-2 series (WWII) games, and F-15/16'ish and the incoming Su'ish throttles (of VKB/VPC) offer poor support for this kind of games.

I will ask some guys about the FLCS stick conversion (for Cougar) and report back, but an option is this gimbal kit, may the guy accept convert for you.

Thanks for your reply Sokol, I may just end up with a CH product Fighter stick and throttle pro as I already have USB pedals.

Welcome back. Haven't flown BMS in a while, but I use a Evenstrain Cougar and TIR. I threw my rudder pedals out of the window.
