I've been listening to a lot of progressive rock recently and I'd consider these my top songs from that genre that were at least 10 minutes long or more.
“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”
Always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Elie Wiesel. Romanian born Jewish writer, professor, political activist, Nobel Laureate, Holocaust survivor. 1928 - 2016.
Indeed the safest road to Hell is the gradual one - the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts. C.S. Lewis, 1898 - 1963.

One more favorite from me.

Great stuff on this thread, nothing to add yet. I was thinking "Echoes" but you already have it.
Not the real Floyd, but I'm really looking forward to hearing it played live next week at Radio City Music Hall (it's been a crowd favorite).
The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in Gives way and suddenly it’s day again The sun is in the east Even though the day is done Two suns in the sunset, hmph Could be the human race is run
Can't believe no one has posted this, as I am late to the Party. What, are there just a bunch of Yankees on SimHQ? Greatest Live Double Album of the 70s!!! S!Blade<><
Here's one of my old favorites... I think it still holds some sort of record for longest 'single'. The Orb - Blue Room from '92 - (which had several mixes... from 4:09 up to 39:57.)
Ozric Tentacles have several lengthy tunes that are a blast, too..
The Dream Theater cover is excellent, possibly the best cover I’ve ever heard, but without Dee Murray’s bassline it’s just not the same. And the castanets in FFAF.

Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy from Gong fame, reborn as System 7, or 777, or whatever, it's a huge family tree. Here's a collab with Alex Patterson of The Orb.
