Saitek's use specific "joystick pot" (limited electric angle) made by Polyshine:

http://www.polyshine.cn/Products.html

Thing is seems that "joystick pot" are made under order for industry and are not available in stores like Digikey, Mouser.

Ask Polyshine for indicate a seller

Or do better and use a contactless sensor, eg. GVL224 "MagRez" - announced in this forum by $8 assembled in PCB.

Or Bi-Tec 6120 series HALL sensor - pay attention in working angle, you need one with 30 or 60, not 360 degree and in shaft diameter, get one more close to original pot to avoid modifications.

What part numbers would I be looking for?

I don't know, is need look in the codes in the actual pot, but the type used by Saitek is discussed in this topic:

https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160247&highlight=polyshine&page=3

Looks a model from this series:

http://www.polyshine.cn/uploadFile/F16K-2015-04-29-04-14-40.pdf

See Yoke pot in this pictures:

https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/...aitek-pro-flight-yoke-pitch-axis/?page=4
https://youtu.be/C4b7wYZ2emY

Resume of ED topic: the guy contact Polyshine and they answer that don't sell for end users.

In the end the guy desist in replace the pot, did a (temporarily) "fix" (cleanup) and after buy a better quality product (pedal) as replacement.

IMO - The best to do is adapt an Bi-Tec sensor, wiring is the same of actual pot.

I was able to take apart the bad pot. I cleaned the contacts with isopropyl alcohol and it works great!
