Yesterday afternoon, our leader and friend Igor Anatolievich Tishin passed away from complications post chemotherapy. We mourn this tragic loss and pray for his family, his wife Tania and father Anatoly Petrovich. Eagle Dynamics was a huge part of his life and most of our dreams stemmed from there. The Team will gather soon to ensure that Igor's legacy gone on and always be remembered in the products we make. We commit to following his wishes and for the dream to continue through the capable hands of those who remain. The whole Eagle Dynamics team, family and friends pray God to our beloved Igor.

Our deepest condolences to all who knew him and loved him well.

ED Team, family and friends

Too bad, his vision is what led to the concept I enjoy today!

I get enjoyment out of DCS in its present state! Yes things could be better, but I appreciate the difficulty in creating a product that uses multiple OS, multiple developers, multiple hardware and software specs. Thankfully some people have dreams and vision, and work in an attempt to realize their dreams, I fully support this.

Video showing Igor Tashin looks quite young!

I've got that t-shirt as cancer took my wife recently.

RIP Sir. I've spent countless hours enjoying your work.

Sad news, RIP

Eagle Dynamics as a whole will no doubt carry the legacy for many years to come.

It has been mentioned by someone over at ED's official forums that they are willing to donate to the family or a nominated charity. I am more than willing to donate once this takes place. When it does, I will share the details here for anyone else willing to spare some cash for the cause.

It is not the person but the cause......
