New Dev Blog. This is a proper SWAT/R6 successor and so far it looks amazing. Better than anything I've seen in years. Worth checking up on if you liked those old tactical shooters.

Finally, felt like 47 years between #2 and this smile
Now, the 9-bang. How/when should I choose this over a standard flashbang?
Do one move in after first poff (like a flashbang) and enjoy the mayhem or is there something more to it over the "normal"?
Almost reinstalled SWAT4 last few weeks but I think I can hold on until this releases smile

Wow, it looks really good. And that's some real progress they're showing, too.

Might need a trigger/NSFW warning on the dev blog link though with that closeup of a rather gory headshot.

For a 9 bang you chase it as it bounces down the hall or around the room. The manufacture will swear up and down that so long as you aren't laying on it you'll be fine, it's still unnerving as all get out to have it bang right next to your boot. Use a nine bang when you need a longer period of distraction. Pop one down the hall while you hit a room, etc. Large rooms work well for 9 bangs as well as it will hop it's way merrily deeper in as it goes off. Bear in mind thought that the shock factor drops off after the first bang or two. It's still loud and bright, but it's not near as stunning after the first couple go off.
