Excellent work.

Metal? Wood? Mix of the two?

I'm guessing you're going for a WWII simpit smile

Lol Steve..you would! Should be finished today.

Ice.... it's based on a MkIX spitfire seat its made from 1.5mm steel for the bucket seat and back, and plywood for the sides. I have added a padded seat that allows me to sit without falling into the bucket seat lol and today will see a printed seat adjustment lever fitted and a final coat of paint.

Oops, just noticed I've stuck this post in the controllers section and not in pit builders lol..how do I shift the post to the proper section of the forums?

nice seat.... I take it you have some sort of metal bending/forming machine or just lots of patience and a long table edge n weight? I am going to have a try at similar for my lanc sim as the victor rear crew seat is too heavy really....

I got the tin basher at the work to help me, helped find the angles and distances etc, then we used the hand folder at work. I then completed the woodwork etc and built the chair up.
