Found this trailer/promo a few weeks back and now is when I have a chance to post about it. Did not find anyone on this forum talking about it. I read much about this squadron back in the early IL2 days when I was working on the British Voice Pack. Hope it comes out well if not I'll wait for it in Netflix.
and for those that for some reason or the other did not know who was the 303 squadron during the Battle of Britain then take a look at this 49 min documentary (Bloody foreigners. Untold Battle of Britain):

Great to see the Hurribus get a bit of glamour on the silver screen rather than the ubiquitous Spitty. Though I feel that the cinema version will have a hard act to follow in the excellent (considering British Channel 4 budgets for this sort of thing) 'Bloody Foreigners!' that THX mentions above.
Anyone noticed the Buchons masquerading as Hurricanes in the background of the 'repeat please!' clip? Also the actor that played the rookie pilot Simon in the 1969 film portrayed as a commanding officer in the new production.

Yes! And I coud never understand why they did that. I get that they only had three Hurri's. But why not use them in a close in shot, and then maybe, at least, Spitfires in the back as fill ins. Why the Buchons. I'm sure few people noticed, anyway. But it was a strange decision, I think.

Just about every documentary I have seen regarding the attack on Pearl Harbor shows SBD's dropping their bombs as if they are attacking the base.

Wheels
I've seen that as well. I think it's due to a combination of certain WWII stock footage being used so many times over the years that they become part of the "official library" and also people involved with the documentary who really have no clue what they are doing.

According to the info I found here, this film will be released in theaters in Europe but will have a VERY limited release in the US. So for US viewers interested in this, Netflix or some other online source will probably be the best option.

... had my share with the perfect movie "Dark Blue World" about 15 years ago or so.
The Fx shown in the trailer of "303" aren't really cutting it I have to say. But it's a good story anyway. But taking DBW's crown is a tough game. I think they'll lose it on the romantic scenes, ... always a bit risky picking a sort of contemporary blonde girl over historic cuts and common colours.
Let's wait and see.
Rant on: It won't slip beyond Pearl Harbor though, that's simply impossible. *wrapping back self into the parachute silk* :P
