I'm running the latest TD Patch for IL-2: 1946.

On some of the newer maps, I'm getting odd slowdowns when viewing the cities at a certain angle down low. My specs are in my sig, and I believe I should not be seeing this. Currently running in OpenGL with Perfect settings.

Any suggestions?

I've gone over the conf.ini many times, disabling features where I can to test this... Nothing seems to be making a difference.

Stutters and frame rate issues over large cities has always been a problem. Open the Berlin and Gulf of FInland maps and fly around the cities on them to see if the same problems exist on them since they were early maps that gave everyone fits.
Berlin map over Berlin, and GoF map over the Leningrad area. Make sure to fly one of the Single missions or start a campaign so you have some objects on the map and not just an empty map.
