We sortied into the Atlantic looking 4 and finding a England Blocking force. Under strict orders to keep the Fleet in being, we had to make a hit and run sortie. Our Flotilla consisted of my Scouting / Dispatch Vessel the Z-29, The DD Z31 and The CA Willie Kuggerman , A WWI flying Ace, also referred to as a Pocket Battleship. Spotting the enemy at max range coming out of the mists was a CV, 2 DD;s . The CA fired along withe DD closing range we found the range and got a few hits, but the enemy Air Cover attacked, Close explosions aboard the CA and on the Horizon and enemy CL came looming towards us. The commander ran up flags calling for my ship to lay a smoke screen and along with the DD Z31 to launch torpedoes then disappear in the smoke and beginning darkness. Not much of a battle No hits on the Z29and our only Salvo was not in range no torpedo hits. The DD Z31 got taped by 3 4in shells and got a hits on the CV + 1 hit on a enemy DD and a torpedo into the British CL. The Kuggermen did not hit anything with her 4 salvos and didn't get hit. All in all a " E'LL day at Sea."
