Maybe if the other 4,977 passengers broke all their limbs, beat them into comas, or just tossed them overboard when it first started, it wouldn’t be a potential problem on future cruises. You have to speak to people in a language they understand.

I love to cruise and I certainly won't stop doing so because of a handful of idiots.

I want to see a group photo, as a whole family that violently hate Australians must be something to behold.

The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events.

Disposing the unwanted to Australia is a long, honorable, and, as demonstrated, unbroken tradition.

It's Carnival...what do you expect?!

Just kidding, our last cruise was Carnival (2009) after several RCI cruises. Carnival ships aren't nearly as elegant and they do attract the more rambunctious, but the cruise itself was great and a bit cheaper than RCI (although both are baseline and cater to the masses, also both own higher-end cruise lines).

Every cruise line has its own target demographic that it tries to cater to.

In general:

Carnival : Single people under 30. Spring Breakers overwhelmingly choose Carnival over other cruise lines.

Royal Caribbean: Married couples over 30.

Disney: Families (duh).

Holland America, Cunard: High income people over the age of 60. You DONT go on these cruise lines to “score”.

I had to check to see if there was a People of Carnival website like there is for People of Walmart.

One day we're going to make the annual Rock cruise...
http://monstersofrockcruise.com/the-bands/

The Atomic Punks (Van Halen tribute) were on this recent one, saw them last year (review on Music > "Cover/Tribute Band Thread"). Would have been a lot of fun. One day.

There's also an annual Metal cruise...
http://70000tons.com/

...both are RCI (Royal Caribbean International).

A tired 6 year old me on my first cruise, Royal Caribbean's Nordic Prince, 1983.

This was the first picture I ever took, on purpose anyway, excuse my fingers.

A Royal Navy submarine that I can't remember the name of, I think we were close to Panama Canal.

As the Falklands war had only occurred the previous year, there was a still a fair amount of British military presense in the region.
