As anyone who has played the game knows your pilots are presented 1,2,3 in the order you created them in the game.
As anyone who has delved into the files knows there are one to three files for each in the Pilots folder starting with “Pilot0”, “Pilot1”, “Pilot2”, etc corresponding to the above.

Being WOFF OCD is reordering my pilots in the game a simple matter of renaming the “Pilot1” files to “Pilot5” for example?
Or is there something more in the coded pilot files that will mess up the career?

It's an interesting question Duke, but not something I have tried so I can't advise you. I might just mess up everything. You have my permission to try it though!

I will give it a test run in a couple hours then if it’s going to be an adventure!
Going to guess it will be a simple renaming...I hope!

You can not simply rename (renumber) dossier files, because encrypted files become unreadable, WOFF decryption will fail.
