So, I never quite seemed to have the luck some have with running WOFF at super high settings, even when I upgraded. Still and all, I found what I thought was a decent balance and the planes looked fine.
On occasion though, just when everything seems to be running along smoothly, something changes on my computer (driver or Win 10 update, etc) that resets or ignores my graphics settings and my WOFF suddenly takes a performance hit, a graphics hit, or both.
Often a little resetting of the CFS3 profile in the NVidia panel or the NVidia Inspector panel will do the trick. This time however, I seem to be stuck.
Here's a pic of my WOFF from last week: Note the wires and general smoothness of the AA:
Now, here is a shot of WOFF yesterday.
No settings that I can see are changed. Was running 8X AA and multisampling. Still am, but now it looks terrible and I can't get it back. Anyone else ever experience this? Does anyone run NI or change the profile settings for WOFF.exe as well as CFS3.exe? Kinda stumped.
Thanks guys.

I do run a Woff boot that is disconnected from the internet. After an connection to the internet CFS3.exe would not run. In my case the Nvidia CP could not be opend. After the re-installation of a Nvidia driver I could run this game. In my case I suspect some win10 updates are conflicting.

Same exact thing happened to me about a year ago..just learned to live with it. No explanation why..
Then if I recall correctly, I read somewhere about using the AA settings from WOFF as opposed to any nVidia settings. That seemed to do the trick for me.

Maxing out the AA settings via WOFF Workshop and ticking "Application Controlled" for the AA settings in the nVidia control panel fixed the issue for me as well.

Interesting. I have always used Nvidia overriding every setting in WOFF where possible. Have to experiment some more. If I do have this issue that would alleviate my concern of approaching senility.

I had always followed the recommended method of overriding WOFFs AA setting, but I will try doing the opposite and see if it works. Strange though that, if true, your NVidia settings can no longer override your application settings.
And since WOFF hasn't changed on my system, it means that the last WIN10 update "fixed" a problem that I didn't have for me.

I was reading that the latest windows update, in some cases, prevented people from doing just this. Hence the borderless window solution which was posted in the article I was reading. I'm not sure if such a workaround is possible in WoFF though unless you're some kind of technical wizard wh can force the CFS3 engine to run in BW.
Also, it pays to check everything after a Windows update these days, you never know what they've decided to "improve" for you. Usually my audio settings get reset, Shadowplay breaks and all of my nVidia control panel overrides are reset. If nVidia inspector isn't doing the job, give the nVidia control panel a try. I thought I was going cuckoo the first few times it happened, It's like someone ninjaed themselves into my house and messed around with my PC.
Let's pretend I got the BWOC badge to embed here.

BWOC Survivor!...So Far!!
Hence why I have elected to keep my gaming system on Windows 7 without windows update running. I don't like surprises from MS.

Good call. But of course MS is stopping "support" of W7 this year or next or I would switch back in a second.
EDIT: Support ends for W7 in January 2020.

Duke, as long as my gaming system for WOFF is working, I don't really care when support stops. If I have problems in the distant future with Win7, I will revisit Win10 and maybe by then things will have smoothed out. One problem with windows 10 is that it does not work well with multi-boot environments with mixed OS's. It seems to corrupt the other OS hard disks. I have experienced this myself. I set up a Win10 on my system as a boot option and the only way I can ensure it does not see or touch my other drives is to disconnect them before booting into Win10. Win 10 is not a good playmate (doesn't play well with others on it's report card)!!
