Can I get an assessment of this Thrustmaster product from some of the veterans? I need a new HOTAS since I'm getting back into my combat sims, and I was NOT impressed with the cost/quality gap I encountered with the Warthog. Lots of problems. I eventually ended up throwing the Warthog out -- literally. But this item looks like a good combo of quality and reasonable price.

Any advice appreciated. My Logitech Force 3D Pro is a dinosaur.

I'd considered this for myself but I don't really get on with a throttle so I just bought the stick. It's in a different league to the old Logitech Pro's I used to own. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the base lights up when you move the stick.

EV's are the Devils matchbox.

Hmmm, I like the look of that.
Can you use the throttle without the stick? As in plugging it in on it's own?

A short and sweet (but honest) review from Ralfi; who plays a lot of DCS and other sims:

Yes, throttle has his own USB controller and work independent of stick, and can integrate TFRP (Tm rudder pedals) as one controller wit 8 axis - 5 in throttle, 3 in pedals.
