Are you speaking of windows OS and which version (7 or 10), or are you just speaking of the "Windows update process/app"?

Seems like every darn W10 update breaks something. Hear that everywhere. If they would just make it a program launcher with the O/S instead of some "Big Brother Master Control Program" the CP world would be a happier place. Wish there was a viable alternative to MS. Drop them in a damn second. Just need a program launcher not some electronic wife, nanny, spy, and best friend.
Sorry Duke - I have to disagree with all of that. Don't want to debate, I'll just leave it at that. gaw1 - I just updated my system yesterday, previous update was mid December (I do not leave my system connected to the Intranet), WOFF continues to work fine for me. In case others want to know this is gaw1 hardware he posted in January of 17. I'm no expert but had my kids (my Christmas pesent) kit me out w/ a GTX1080, an i76700cpu, and an Asus B150 mobo. Have you updated Nvidia drivers recently? The other suggestion is to email OBD support with your log files.

Hi gaw1 - 3620 x 2036 you were running Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) ?
There are google hits for issues with DSR having problems after Windows Creators Update (did not notice any mentioning Direct X).
If I were having this issue this would direct me even more to look at the Nvida drivers. I run triple screen with Nvida Surround at 7780x1440 (Bezel adjusted) (Three 2560x1440 monitors)

OK.........FIXED, at least here! If anybody else has trouble making the higher resolutions stick assuming you've the card to run 'em........go to the NVIDIA settings, click on the "Manage 3D settings", click on "DSR Factors", check ALL the boxes on the drop down menu that appears with the arrow on the right, click APPLY, quit and reboot. When you're back up open up your NVIDIA settings again and click "Change Resolution" under Display, pick out the one you want....you'll see a lot more and hit APPLY. Close, click your DESKTOP and choose the same res under "Display settings". When you next open WOFF, go to the workshop, pick the same res, and Bob's your uncle. Worked here.....good luck!
