The concept for this one is good, to be sure, but unlike Ultrawings, I found execution to be badly wanting.
Frame rates on my device are pretty poor, not what I would expect of a Samsung Gear VR game. Some of the art is pretty amateurish, and not everything works as planned. AI team mates do not follow orders adequately even if not under fire, and I found the controls to be both peculiar and nowhere near as accurate as Ultrawings. Finally, it caused overheating of my phone far faster than Ultrawings.
It's a good idea, one that I contemplated myself, and I am surprised and pleased that a developer gave it a go. I just hope that they are able to continue developing it, as right now, it isn't quite there yet.
