Hi Folks;

Thanks to Fullofit, it has been discovered that the latest version of this mod has put three files in the root directory "WOFF" unintentionally. It is not a problem that will affect the WOFF play but I advise you remove these three files so as to keep your WOFF installation pristine.

The files in question are called "airbase_groucourt_1.xml" , “global_layerfilescamp.csv” , ”gslfilescamp.lib”

A new version of this mod (V2.13) will be released soon so as to prevent this from happening in the future. If you already have V2.12 installed there is no need to download the V2.13.

Sorry for any inconvenience folks. My pay has been docked accordingly!!

Does this include the forts mod that Lou has so diligently worked on as well?

That is the purpose of the upload. It is documented in the accompanying ReadMe file Sir!

Not to be rude in any way but a 300MB+ download to inform the user of what content in the repository is a little odd.

I do see that earlier in a thread, you did post the contents of the pack but it would be nice to inform the user before they download over a quarter GB worth of data.

That aside, thank you and the other contributors for your great work!

Hi Space_Ghost;

I appreciate your feedback and you are not being rude. I do try to info on the immediate changes to the mod before each release but the problem with that is that not everyone gets to the posts and reads the info.
I might suggest to Sandbagger to supply another link so people can download the ReadMe files first before downloading the mod. It will give them the option to check things out. The other possible option is for Sandbagger to display the latest 'Changelog' entry on his screen if there is room for it.

Thanks for your thoughts.

When a person looks at this mod on Sandbaggers website I agree that the description of what it does/includes is a bit sparce. I think this would be easy to tweek. Just add a couple of sentences to say briefly what the mod includes perhaps?

Humbly suggest not to try this through the changelog ... the changelog it is long and confusing for someone seeing it for the first time ... or at least it was for me. (As an aside, the changelog stuff also makes the readme very confusing .... when I opened the readme I just wanted to see what the mod does and how to install it, but had to wade through the several pages of changelog stuff to find that.)

Just some observations from someone who download this and installed it for the first time a few days ago.
Cheers!

Scout;

I hear you but with all due respect, the majority of downloaders are not first timers and their interest is 'what has changed'. It is very easy to scroll past all the 'Changelog' entries to get to the 'what it does' stuff. I do believe this changelog info is essential to the ReadMe file because any changelog entry on Sandbagger's site would be lost on the next update.
I appreciate your comments but will leave things as they are with respect to the ReadMe file until a better method of handling it effectively (taking all things into consideration), comes to light.

I have PM'd Sandbagger for his input and should hear from him soon.

Best Regards;
