So this problem started a while ago and i'm not sure why or when, but i noticed during heavy gaming the games would crash, or even the system, and many drivers cleaning and reinstall later, clearing the soquette and the board itself,the fans. nothing changed, and odly the core temperatures were normal 39 idle, reaching top 69 at heavy games.....then i noticed the pcb was too hot for the touch (yes, know ,dont touch cos the card can get hot, or eletrical discharge) but what i mean is it was VERY hot, it was never this hot before, i could feel the heat before touching it.....when i turn on my air conditioner, wich in rio its a must, it was atenuating the problem, but when the temperature were not scorching, i started to notice this.

Anyone has any clue what may be causing this ?

Since you’ve already done the cleaning and the fan is running ok, I’m thinking the thermal paste is probably broken down. Not catastrophic, just happens sometimes.

Thank you, i think you were on the money, i did change the paste yesterday, i only had time to test for 40 minutes, but even in origins at full capacity the card was now reaching a stable 60°, i could see in the benchmarking that i no longer had spikes in frames and the gameplay was smooth, i will need longer testing, but this has helped a lot, i was always afraid to touch the card becouse they are very much expensive here.

Glad that worked! Messing with processors and such is always a little stressful.
