I haven't flight simmed much in the past year and booted up BMS again. I am having an issue where BMS ignores the Saitek software X65 ministick deadzone setting and doesn't even seem to care about the BMS's own deadzone being set to large for the radar slew on the ministick. I feel like I've had a similar issue years ago and resolved it. Again, setting the deadzone in BMS advanced settings to large for the ministick axiis makes no difference that I can tell. I want to say the issue was always BMS not caring what the Saitek control panel deadzones were, so you always had to set it in the sim itself, but now the sim's own deadzone setting seems useless.

I got around it in the last version of bms 4.32 with glovepie. 4.33 doesn't have the issue. I know I didn't use glovepie on 4.32 before but I can't figure out how I was resolving it.
