who knows ? the F-84 F- 86 , Gloster Meteor maybe MiG-15 can be developed as well with a Korean War map - to me that would be simply fantastic.

and of course the Spitfire, Mustang, P-38L, Tempest and ... P-47D are all confirmed.

Another improvement to IL2 is the color adjustments they are doing.Same with DCS.Just a touch more in the blues and the sims just look worlds better,IMO


While I am here.....any idea why the video stutters like crazy?My game also stutters at certain angles of head movement and I get like 130fps.

One thing to check is the FOV adjustments. If you change one FOV (forward view for instance) and don't change the rest, the sim will go have to revert
to defualt when you look elsewhere. Talking snap-views here, but just a thought.

Yes snap views is terrible with the way the fov changes with each snap.I have trackir so its a different issue.It stutters and then gets smooth.

Just watch the 3.01 preview video above to see the stutter.Did they film that on a low refresh rate monitor.Not only is it stuttering but there is tons of motion blur.Looking to get a sweet new 144hz monitor but I wonder if this is not the issue here.

This is, most likely, for the ME262. And who knows, maybe Meteor, in the future. I don't want to even START thinking that they'd be considering Korea.

I was always looking forward to a nice big map of Korea and MiG-15 , F-86, Corsairs ...

The 262 is coming with Bodenplatte. It's on the list of planes, anyway.
Korea has always been an airwar that has fascinated me. I love my DCS F-86. Fly it a lot against those damn Honchos in their MiG-15's. THAT'S what DCS should have done instead of WW2. Although it would have cost 500 dollars if you wanted all of the planes, map, ground assets....etc.....

Korean war expansion had interest when BoS was first announced (Loft Aug 2013).

Korea is broadly discussed and asked about. We’d be happy to make it someday but speculating on it now is like seeing the future, but we’re not into magic here. Just real motors, gasoline and steel interest us at the moment. However, we do have dreams and Korean theatre of war holds a solid position among them.

I tend to think Bodenplatte gives them an option to consider a future KW expansion with jet tech, improved map distance and metallic skin finishes. I was stationed in Korea so would love to see this period too.
