Still bugs me to this day, how they broke Freebird into two tracks programs. The song would fade out right as it started jamming...<ca-clunk>...then continue on the next program.

I've seen my fair share of bands Cichlidfan including Elton John and Elvis Presley - but unfortunately not L. Sky. but have always been a fan of many of their songs

They weren't in that order on the vinyl release of 'Pronounced...'
I take it this is a thinly veiled statement on the senatorial election? We have a forum for politics, you know, and it isn't this one.
I see I wasn't the only one who questioned the timing of this thread.

Haggart thinks that his "playing dumb" skills are really that amazing but of course they are not.

That was very common. I had a *huge* 8-track collection in the early-mid 80's (always wheeling-and-dealing at yard sales when people just wanted to get rid of them) and occasionally I'd want a more quality version of something I'd discover, then I'd buy the LP. Usually the order on the 8-track was different to accommodate tape length, 4 equally timed programs (2 tracks each - in stereo). I didn't think Freebird was so long that it couldn't fit on a single program, but that's how they chose to do it.
I can listen to Rush's Moving Pictures today and remember where the song fades and advances on The Camera Eye which makes sense, not only length of song, but being an obscure song (they usually chose obscure songs to break, like Styx's Boat On The River off Conerstone).
