This originally started to be released in 2014 and is not yet completed? I don't have any of these titles but I have pre-purchased the Bodenplatte title. Is that the general timeline that these have been following? I may not have the full game for another three or four years? Please tell me no.

Thanks for the reply. The initial public announcement about this mentioned a Spring of 2018 early release. That was a big reason for the pre-purchase, which I NEVER do. But, I have to admit, I'm excited about this title. I'm hoping that the 2018 early release is correct and that they are able to get something out.

IL-2:BoX series you don't need await their finalize the game to play, the contend is released as became ready, first some planes, then the map, more planes and finally campaign. Probable in Spring of 2018 will be released one or two planes of BoBp and until the map came (e.g. BoK map was released in August 2017 - first plane of BoK Bf 109 G-4 was released in December 2016), players that made pre-order can use this released planes in other maps. Don't know the situation of someone that don't own any previous "Battle", but are a map of small part of Stalingrad map, as well the add on map Velikye Luki that probable can be used for this cases, then you can use your P-47/51... in QM against AI planes of all models already released since BoS. In Bo'X series the "final release" has nothing special, because people already are using most of contend, basically the "final release" is the release of SP campaign, so when this happen people already are asking for the next "X" - what is good for the business.

That is some really interesting text by BlackSix, if it wasn't for the retarded mission editor I would buy BoK tonight already and wait for his campaign to show up. Weeell... The ME is "different". But once you "get" how it works, it's super-powerful. Basically, you're scripting, but visually, without all that syntax and brackets stuff. It's really powerful, and once you get used to it, not that hard. Everything you could do in '46 or CloD is straightforward. More intricate stuff requires work! I started with Bob Vanderstock's RoF ME videos here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvN86qjIZV8&list=PL724688FAC76E4385 But if you're depriving yourself of what, in my humbles, is the most visceral and thrilling cfs available at the moment because you think the ME is "retarded", that's a bit of a shame. Edit: Bob gets into the "logic" of programming mission elements to do stuff (even the most basic stuff like following waypoints) in his 4th video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Rhb_nu-jlw&index=4&list=PL724688FAC76E4385. That's the off-putting thing about the ME. It's unintuitive to do the easy things, but that gives you a lot more power to manipulate the more complex things!
