I assume this is covered somewhere, but as I'm sitting here downloading WOFF UE I'm wondering if there is a tutorial or just a way to fly outside of combat to get used to flying these planes?

Choose the quick combat option. You can select a free flight with no opponents.

You need to create a pilot of the service you desire, then select Quick Combat. IMPORTANT, select pilot never dies or you will keep having to create new pilots. In quick combat you will be able to select any number of scenarios or free flight. You can select season and weather, fly any plane that the service you are flying for used (central or allied). You will also be able to set the altitude, (field for takeoff), the number of wingmen and the type of plane you will fly against, skill level, and number of wingmen for each side. And, again don't forget to select pilot never dies.
