So my other major addiction (besides Skyrim SE) is Dungeons & Dragons 5e table top gaming. I finally completed painting my somewhat expansive collection of miniatures and have started Dungeon Mastering (DMing) my own games. Everyone seems to really enjoy the immersive 3D gaming experience. Does anyone else play D&D? What edition? How often do you game?

I used to play. Man, we even wrote in to tsr when they had that questionnaire about what we wanted to see in the 2nd edition(!). Had all my Dragonlance books on the shelf and folders filled with Larry Elmore art. But after it caused me to join that Satanic cult, I just haven't had time to play lately you know, what with all the Satanic culting keeping me busy and all... explode

I still have all my 2e books, including all the various brown handbooks. Great edition, though i must admit i think 5e really shines best at this point. Believe it or not, even now in 2017 i have still had people tell me they believe playing d&d attracts evil spirits. /facepalm. Really, people? Lol

Yeah, I still have my bag of dice waxed and ready to go! I believe the first edition books are still kicking around at my parent's house... I should probably ebay those... I do see some groups on Twitch every now and again... pretty cool!

Just played a few weeks ago with some guys in the FD... yes...we do that..lol. it was the first time I did since I was 13. It was s blast.

A awesome set you made. I'm sure that really creates a deep atmosphere for the players. Ive never seen a set so intricate as that...especially in play.

Great job bro!

I play as well. I DM a 5e game about once a month. Anyone else a fan of Critical Role?

Amazing work! I am envious of your collection.

I have watched a couple of episodes of Critical Role!. Great cast and show! DC, is yours a book campaign or Homebrew?

I just got in my plastic scrub brushes today also. 2 different kinds. Here's what the encounter set piece looks completed. Subtle but immersive difference, I think.

I run a homebrew from which I liberally steal from every book I can!

That's the way to do it. I just started mine. It's called The Empire of Scale campaign. The premise is that an ancient Dracolich has begun building an army of scale - any and all reptilian creratures - so kobolds, lizardmen, werecrocs, Yuan-ti, Saughin, evil dragons, etc. Their desire is to return the balance of power back to the reptiles by making war on all non-reptiles but humans, elves and dwarfs in particular. Their shamans practice necromancy and they bolster their ranks by often raising the humans they kill back from the dead as skeletons and zombies, to serve them forever. Only 2 sessions in so far, but that's the overall plot.

Sounds exciting! Mine is based around a Giant King who is sending his minions to steal magical artifacts from the cities of the realm. The players will discover that it is in an attempt to conduct a ritual to save his wife who has been cursed by the true Big Bad Evil Guy of the campaign.
