I really like your videos Sgt_Fresh. I'd love to get this jet age mod you have but I'm not sure that I have the cerebral requirements to get it installed.

Its a shame more folks are not seeing or at least responding to your posts. SimHQ really does seem to be in a hibernation period compared to the older days. Maybe there's not enough new sims to keep people's juices flowing but the way you put together your videos is great. I love the little mini documentary style news clips at the beginning of the missions. Makes me miss the days of Weekday Wings. Surely your videos deserve more views and comments. Some people used to complain quite rudely that there wasn't enough sim stuff being posted in the Video and Screenshot Gallery and yet here is Sgt_Fresh, faithfully and loyally posting simulation material and there's seemingly no one around now to appreciate it and to consume it.

I know your efforts are appreciated and thank you for these great videos sir. I think I will go and subscribe to your Youtube Channel to be able to see them all in one place.

IL2-1946 is an old game that wont go away, and for good reasons. They have a huge community that is very helpful in keeping the game alive with new planes skins, and effects.
I have DCS, and other flight sims. Yet I always find myself back playing IL2-1946.

They have file installers and copy & paste config.ini to get the game up and running without bugs or crashes. Whats really nice is they have a game .exe start up program that gives you the option to fly the jet age, WWII, golden era, or WWI. It is really amazing.

Thanks for the link. I'll take a look. It is a great sim. I've currently got a modded version installed that WheelsUp helped me with. I've got to try this jet age mod though. I loved flying the Hun in Strike Fighters and the models inside and out look great in your mod video as does the Vietnam terrain. I suppose I should start by installing a fresh copy of the game and then make a back up of that before messing with the mod. If memory serve the game behaves well being copied and pasted in multiple instances.
