The latest Flare Path from Rock Paper Shotgun written by Tim Stone presents the early-in-development bush-pilot simulator Deadstick.

- Maule M-7 and Piper PA-18 Super Cub
- study sim, but simple planes to make a game accessible for everybody
- 3D cargo management and checks & maintenance UI

Sounds very interesting!

This looks really interesting. Finally someone has realised civilian flightsims could do with missions and a sense of progression. Thanks for sharing!

I'm really curious to see where it goes too. I agree that missions and a more structured experience would be great for a bush flying focused simulator. Hopefully they implement VR too (I haven't seen any mention of that yet)

This looks awesome, and I will definitely try it when it comes out!

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Wow, sounds very intersting! Thanks for the heads up.
I like the 1st Person element of it.

REMEX Software was founded by game developer and private pilot Chris Cheetham. Having previously worked at EA, Supermassive Games and Fireproof Games, Chris was keen to combine his passion for flying with his talent for game development and REMEX was born. Since its inception REMEX has worked with a high profile British racing team to deliver high fidelity simulation solutions before more recently focusing all of their attention on their debut title Deadstick - Bush Flight Simulator, a highly detailed first person flight simulator with emphasis on surviving as a bush pilot in a highly detailed world.

Yeah, this looks like fun. Would be even better if they gave you a pontoon add-on so you could fly that Cub onto rivers and small lakes. Gonna be watching this one.

it has all the makings of a very good flight sim - full of potential.
