Hope the French readers can help; if this TV series has been released and where to buy the DVD.

No, it should be aired in 2018 on Arte (the franco-german TV channel), it will probably put on their online platform "Arte+7" after the diffusion, but only for a limited time and for french and german viewers(*but you can be maybe "cheat" them with a proxy).

If it is published on Blueray DVD and does contain English or German subtitles (or Dutch) I will buy it.

Down under in Adelaide
I got really excited when I saw this thread. But I have to say I'm really put off by the aesthetics (the filters make it looks like someone went crazy with their ENB settings...) and as I watched quickly without sound I yet have to hear how the acting sounds. But I guess a series on the topic is better than none. We'll see (assuming I can access the Arte streaming platform, but vpn should take care of that I guess)
