Hi I'm new to Sim HQ but thought that some of you could be interested in the Mk IX Spitfire Sim Kit that I have 3D designed and printed for use with WW2 flight sims. The idea started off as a personal sim pit build project, but I have been encouraged by several sim squad mates to make up a few extra sets.
The sim kit I have developed is designed to be reasonably priced, light and removable. When flying behind a desk we are not really submitted to any "g" forces and sometimes the "office" or guest bedroom where we fly from needs to be cleared away for some real-life guests.
You will see the simple set-up and a flight test of the prototype in the DCS Spitfire in the attached video (a bit home-made i'm not a movie expert). I hope to start printing up production parts in the next two weeks and plan to have a few sets ready for Christmas. Production will be slow as everything is 3D printed, soldered and assembled by hand and I already have a dozen pre-orders, so I hope any interested parties can be a bit patient.
BTW I have tested the kit in other sims and other WW2 aircraft, including bombers and it works fine there too.

Joined the on-line flight sim community 18 months ago. Joined a squad, got my wings and flew my first campaign last year in IL-2 CloD Storm of War server. Had a bit of trouble using my TM
HOTAS X with WW2 a/c and yearned to get the feel of flying like in a real Spitfire - so ended up building my own.
