Good morning, I decided to make the trip down to Andrews this year and boy was I glad I did!

Nothing like hearing the UH1's do a flyby while Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" is playing on the loudspeakers

Overall I would say it was a great airshow, should they host again next year I will definitely make the drive down. They had a good variety of statics on display, and the performer lineup was solid.

Please feel free to check out the rest of my gallery on the show:

Vienna, 2nd rock left.
Some nice shots there, I especially like the Hueys and the Warthog.

Naunton Beauchamp Worcestershi...
Great shots sir, especially the 'P51! Cadillac of the Skies!'

The 'Jelly Belly' shot, has he lost an aileron?

Thanks Dave, I knew a couple people that did Ocean on Saturday and Andrews on Sunday. I would have loved to but I would have been dead lol. Did you run into any issues getting in with your cameras at Oceana? I heard they wouldn't allow anything over 70mm.

Thanks! Yup, that's part of Kent Pietsch's act, he will discard various elements of his Cadet and keep it flying. He puts on quite an amazing demo of energy management!

Very nice shots! I like the color tone, and you have some very good low-shutter-speed skills!

Very nice shots!
Love the P-51 and F-22 pics. Lovely.
I've had little time to indulge in photography in recent years, but the photos on this board are both inspiring and intimidating!
