Hello,

I had no time for simming for a while. Now I desided to improve my old flying skills and startet EECH 1.15.2 with
Fix 5.

The main rotor damage problem was fixed so you could use the flight model 2 in eech.ini.

But there is another bug I came across. It's only the Havoc and it happens in free flight mode. Other modes like
campaign I had no time to check.

If you start a mission with the Havoc in free flight mode the helo is sitting 90 degrees disorted on the FARP,
so that the tail rotor is hitting the barrier around when you start the engine. You couldn't take off cause a
tail rotor damage happens and the chopper is dancing in a circle.

Is there a fix for this problem. Deleting the the collision file of the FARP doesn't help. The game crashes.

Thx

Sven

hello. problem is in original FARP files - some landing pads there has twisted heading angle. changing these files cause lost of compatibly with save files and multiplayer sessions so this fix will be included only in future versions (it's already in Cockpits improvement mod). you can try to replace collision object with EMPTY.EEO from mi-24v-pilots-cockpit - copy it in FARP folder and name it properly, it should disable collision calculations with barrier object.

Hello. Many thanks for your answer. I already tried the fix with the empty.eeo rename it to the proper name for the barrier object, but than the game crashes. Will try out the Cockpit improvement mod. Hope this helps, cause the Havoc is my russian favorite chopper biggrin

Oh I've seen that you are the one building the cockpit improvement mod. Really great if someone can do such things. Many thanks to people like you. You all have done hard work to make such a great sim out of EECH.

V1970, if you are interested you can try these FARP scenes files - http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4102370/Re:_More_infantry!#Post4102370
but they will work only for Infantry mod. it's more stable and less "revolutionary" than Cockpits mod so maybe it will be more suitable for you.

Hello,
wow the gunner pit looks real great!!! Puh it's really late again. Should go to bed now. No more flying sleepy

I've tested the cockpit mod. Look's real great. But in the havoc cockpit some things went wrong. If you look arround in the pit some textures missing. Same if you use the function keys to look at the MFD's. Some textures are transparent. Same in the Apache. There is an emergency button in the left MFD.
Don't know if it's the resolution that causes the trouble. I'm at my juniors PC. He has a junior-cockpit biggrin which is connected to a LCD TV via HDMI. Resolution is 1280x720 cause 1360x768 makes the fonts in windows unreadable.

My pit has a normal res of 1280x1024 or higher. No wideview, cause I don't like 16:9. I love old CRT's. But at the moment the pit isn't running and I have no time to work on it.

Hope I could build the new electronics this year, but i have to renovate my whole flat smash . So nut much time for fun.

I'll try the FARP-Infantry-Mod the next days, if there is some time for siming.

yeah, sure. It does not interfere with your changes in any way.
I have not changed any position gauges. or anything in the scene.
