No new patch or content for almost a year. Practically a non-existent modding community. This forum like a grave yard with mostly OT content.
Is it finally really over? And yes, yes I get the reasons but I deal in results. Too bad for the greatest flight sim ever to end like this. Somebody get out of the wrong side of the bed this morning?

Hey Duke, good to see you. I must disagree with you though on WOFF, it is far from expired. It has been quieter around the forums but that may be due in part to summer and folks have other things going on. I have been absent for a while due to family matters and work but I am still active in the modding. And to your comment about the modding, keep in mind that most of the low hanging fruit has been picked in terms of the mods so what is now left tends to be incredibly time-consuming and tedious to build. I personally have four different mods in various stages of build, each of which will gobble up hundreds of hours of my time to complete, which I am hoping to be able to do once winter settles upon us. There is also still an ongoing DID campaign and new screenshots and WOFF artwork being posted regularly. And we've just brought in another new member to the BOC.
So don't proclaim the old girl gone just yet my friend.

. Duke, I for one don't see why the thread should be deleted, you were voicing an opinion and a concern. Can't speak for others here but I wasn't offended by it, and you are correct about there not being much in the way of WOFF updates coming from the devs. But then that is owing to their latest WWII project which, I am hoping, will result in not only a great WWII flight sim but also a fair amount of new goodies being ported over into WOFF because of it. Now then, if you wouldn't mind, how about you hop over to the flying room thread and show us some shots of where you like to work your own WOFF magic from. I'd certainly like to see your digs. .

We are not "the internet" we are OBD As the WOFF team James and myself worked together - with his feedback I improved the Albatros 3d models to allow him to make some of the new changes in the skins. He then had a lot of work to make them and took some time to complete of course, but stunning work. Of course I know you are not privy, but best not to assume - if it's dead we'll say so (unless we are too). Sometimes things are quiet because people are very busy working 100s and 1000s of hours to make something (with their head down!). We'll get there,

. Ah yes, the pre-retirement house projects, I have a few of those too Duke as I am hanging it up myself a year from this November. So we'll give you this one, but once you have things put back together we want pics of your cockpit. .

Practically a non-existent modding community. Harumphh! Sir, I beg to differ! My second will be in contact with your second! Which do you prefer: pistols or sabers? I do appreciate your frustration, Duke. It has been fairly quiet around here. If you haven't already done so, I encourage you to read some of the many fine stories posted in the Reports from the Front and DiD Centenary Challenge threads. There is some real talent there.
