The comments on the FB page indicate that the S/V Andromeda operates out of Key West. That doesn't guarantee it was there, but it seems likely.

My dear old friend Doug ( RN vet ) used to say that when a big storm was forecast , most would head for port but the Royal Navy would put to sea where they could "look old Neptune in the eye"

Hehe, i do remember our destroyer once encountered a bad storm in the north Atlantic - that didn't work out too well for us. The damage the ship took wasn't worth it. Several months later we had a new Captain but don't know if it was related to the former Captain's decision to look old Neptune in the eye. ahoy

I wonder if they have found this guy yet.

I wouldn't sail across anything bigger than a small pond with him, and only if he was supplying my beverage of choice. REALLY poor judgement IMO.

I personally believe in the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and that deficit spending is sustainable forever. We really do need more Admirals in the Navy than ships and that millions of more poor immigrants will jump start the economy.

These two still have their boat undamaged but they're asking for money and a place to stay. From what i can tell they make a living using their boat for tourist tours, fishing, etc.
