Had my X52 Pro Flight System a long time just standing around and collecting dust. I now want to get it back into shape but dusting it off didn't do much, the dust almost seems to to be glued to the rubber parts and the all the rubber areas are rather sticky. Does anyone know how to get these rubber parts cleaned?

In X-45 I used isopropyl alcohol to remove this rooted gummy rubber paint, rubbing with cloth, but take time. In Cyborg I use WD40 - is more fast, the grip is now shiny - and slippery.

You can disassemble the grip, sand with fine sandpaper to create texture, apply plastic primer and paint with Plastic Dip (rubber paint) - no clue about the durability of this, probable better that Saitek original paint.
Or Rust-oleun sand texture paint - that guy who used to mod CH Fighterstick for left hand use this paint.
