Was this flown in multiplayer? If so this could be caused by lags. If a movement of an object on server side is not updated on client side it's most common practice to extrapolate the movement on client side so the object doesn't appear to stop in mid air. When the update does comes in it may appear that the object jumped from one place to another (extrapolated path usually wont predict the maneuvering jet). But that's just my assumptions. Also what's an MiG-38?
