So after a decade plus hiatus of not playing this title, I got the itch to fire it up again. However, I'm having some issues with the game. First, the tool tip text is either totally transparent or different colors, like yellow, magenta or cyan. Has anyone encountered this and now how to fix it?

Second, whenever I look at the sun in game, I get severe fps drops. It seems to happen when I turn on AA in the Nvidia control panel. It doesn't do it when AA is off. Anyone have any ideas how to still use AA but fix the sun fps drop? Thanks.

Like you I've had a decade hiatus and I'm setting up B17 once more. I had to install my disk version since the OMF editor doesn't seem to like my GOG install. The GOG version did not have the text issue but the disk version did. I checked my old mods and I had a clear text fix. Just tested it on my install and the text is back to white lettering. It's a coreparts.dll and if you pm me I can send it to you.

Now I've got to tackle the dropping machine gun sound bug.

It's been a long time but I think after you install the 2.0 patch you have to reinstall CoreParts.dll to fix the tool tip text.
Oh yeah, you need to use the CoreParts.dll that comes with OMFMod.
