Think pushing a static plane out off the hangar could also be great.

That would be an awesome touch if possible.

Incredible stuff,OldHat! Does it take up much CPU resource to make that happen? I imagine not but I'm just imagining where 4 or 5 such animations are happening per airfield.

No FPS loss yet with 4 animations, but if many airfields then maybe, but don't know yet.

I can't use WOFF planes, only static planes from other games. (BTW-cannot release this plane without author's permission)

Somehow get his permission, that's one plane I would love to fly in WOFF. I know that it's just a static model, but a guy can dream.

+ about 1,000,000 smile

Would absolutely love to fly in and against that model in WOFF:UE.... biggrin

Regards,

Jeff

P.S. Seeing this really makes me long to work again with some of my old skills. Back in my Silent Hunter 3 days, I figured out how to clone objects using hex editing...I had a lot of help, and I attempted to create a tutorial that I hoped was helpful for others once I figured it out Subsim cloning thread from 2005 ...cloning was the gateway in that game to create new ships, planes, etc.! Sadly, I have forgotten practically all of that ability and knowledge over the years, but I suppose it might be kind-of-like riding a bicycle, eh? Don't need an answer, but I wonder how similar adding new planes to WOFF:UE is to this... smile

A bit easier to add into the scenery as a static plane, but near impossible for me to actually make it fly right. So, I'll go back to animation.

Panama or anyone willing to take these animations and incorporate them into the consolidated airfields MOD? - please send me a PM.
