And what? Morons will be morons and will reject any safety feature as the statistic will reveal a single death within 50 years will make it the safest way to have fun.

Doesn't seem to be 'jet blast' looks more like downwash and wingtip vortices, especially for the landing case, where thrust is moderate or low and high lift and drag raising devices are all fully deployed over the threshold.

It happened during a takeoff. More jet wash.

Yeah I remember seeing a video of someone who faceplanted hard on concrete after being blown off the fence there - it looked really bad although that person did walk away from it, but after seeing that I'm certainly not surprised someone died doing the same thing...

I've watched landings from the beach (waiting for a 747 which never came) but didn't cross the road to the perimeter fence, nor did I remember seeing anyone else doing it that day. Yeah, not too smart.

EDIT: My St Maarten Seiko still ticking.

Put some large signs on that fence about paying a $100.00 fine for crossing the road and coming within 20 feet of the fence - then start collecting the money from anyone stupid enough to do it. People don't care about signs - until they start losing money over it.

Yeah Haggart like the fools that feed bears in Yellowstone when warned not to or the ones in Florida who let their child go wading when the alligator warning signs are all around...Guess it's the old "that don't apply to me" syndrome

On the news a few days ago it showed 2 women within a few feet of a grizzly with only a chain-link fence separating them. banghead

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

I like the video of the huge gator crossing the road and the fools getting close with their phone cameras..Lucky for them the gator wasn't hungry,,Sad thing is if he made a snack of one he would have been shot

She was 57, so I don't think the gene pool was spared anything in this case.
