Thanks guys, for the Bday wishes. I actually had a free lunch on the wife and desert on the house, Oh and I forgot to mention three samples of a local micro brewery's ales. I then went home and had a nap! Oh what I life!! Sounds like a life of RAF pilot in WOFF!

15? Wow... that's amazing. Can't wait to see the list.
Also, adding these as AI non-flyable is not such a bad thing. It will still add to the depth of the game and provide plenty of visual to be enjoyed.
Better to leave as AI rather than have something that gives you all kinds of headaches trying to make it work.
Just my 2 cents.

OV I hate it when you guys in the US can get your "two cents" worth in! The Canadian government took all our cents away and left us to up our anti to five cents! I can only surmise that our government was short of sense (cents) and needed all the cents that the general public was in possession of!

The Canadian government took all our cents away and left us to up our anti to five cents! I wish that the US would do the same thing. In my opinion, pennies are annoying and virtually worthless. I just toss the ones that I receive now. If my bill is $10.67 and I give the cashier $11.02 it just baffles them.

Can't wait to see the list. Pending no objections from mod authors.... here's.....
The List...
Avro504C Avro504D BristolM1C FarmanMF11 FarmanMF11b FarmanMF11c FarmanMF7 FokkerB.I FokkerB.II Hp0/400 HalberstadtCL.IV HanriotHD.1 HanriotHD.1 Dual Hansa BrandenburgD.1 MartinsydeG100 MartinsydeG102 MartinsydeS1 Morane Bullet Morane TypeH PfalzBI PfalzEI PfalzEIV PflazEV PhonixKDI Salmason2a
It would help to know which planes have similar performance specs to ones already in WOFF UE (or if I have any planes listed that are already included), so that I can release them quicker.....
.....or before this brief moment of insanity I got myself into wears off. and all those FM'S.....

Putting together our own little Skunkworks are we?
This is great news! Maybe we will finally be able to fill in some of the aircraft that are currently AWOL in WOFFUE.
Personally, I have been hoping for the Salmson2a to be a part of WOFF for a long time. I am willing to work on the FM for it if someone can send me some info about dimensions and performance. I also noticed you have a model for the HP 0/400. I might be able to work on the FM for that as well, although I would probably feel more comfortable working on the HP 0/100 instead.
Finally OldHat, does anyone have a model for the Sopwith Dolphin? I'd like to see that in WOFF eventually, as well.
And to be really ambitious, if we are able to assemble relatively decent models of a handful of these aircraft we just might be able to convince OBD to include some, or all of these planes into WOFF as an unofficial add-on! A WWI enthusiast can dream can't he?

[quote=OvStachel]Can't wait to see the list. and all those FM'S..... A number of those are Austrian-Hungarian, so wouldn't be seen much over the Western front at present. Maybe as a later add-on pack? This would cut down on the number of new FM's that would have to be put together.

Can remove some that WOFFUE doesn't cover....
No Eastern Front: Hansa BrandenburgD.1 PhonixKDI FokkerB.I FokkerB.II
No Belgians: HanriotHD.1 HanriotHD.1 Dual
The FokkerB.I can be used as the Fokker M 7, which had been operated by the Naval air service of the Kaiserliche Marine from 1915.
Eliminate those and the list gets a little easier. But again, these are not in the main data files , so they won't be active in campaigns without some renaming and file trickery for lack if better words. Sort of like how Pat Wilson created the Western Front Patch for those that remember... ugh...15 years ago...

A WWI enthusiast can dream can't he? Having contacted Pol on this mod, it's not totally out of the question for this to be released by OBD at some time in the future. That said, the mod would need to be up to the standard we and OBD would wish. If some of these models are 15 years old, then their quality must be questionable. In the past modders have come and gone and even when aircraft have been submitted to OBD, the quality left a lot to be desired, in addition to the need of quality texture files, cockpits, LOD models, FM, XML files, historical data and the WOFF folder system, to name just a few of what is required. As we all know, at the moment its full steam ahead with WOTR, so obviously this mod is not an OBD priority right now. However, user generated mods have made their way into WOFF, so never say never.
