This is a very accurate reproduction of Star Trek TOS set. It was built from blueprints from CBS and thousands of pictures. It is in Ticonderoga NY
The colored buttons on the consoles were made by pouring colored plastic into different shaped ice cube trays, just the way it was done on the original set.
Kirk's quarters. The orange sphere in the background is a "magic 8 ball" painted orange. It was the way they did it on the original set.
The gold box in the picture above is an actual prop from the show. It can be seen in the picture on the desk behind Kirk's head.

If you're a Star Trek fan like me then yes it's really cool. I even got to push the button to sound red alert.

That is beautiful. Is this the set they use for Star Trek Continues? I thought that was in Atlanta.

These were built for an online series called Star Trek: New Voyages or Star Trek: Phase II by James Cawley. George Takei, Walter Koenig , Grace Lee Whitney, Denise Crosby all had parts in different episodes. Also some behinds the scene people from TOS also had a hand in it. I believe there were 11 episodes made between 2004 and 2016.
