I am always amazed in how hot my wife takes her showers in the summer, you can't walk in and see anything because it's so steamy. My youngest is the same way. In the winter I'll have it warm, but still not hot because it just makes my skin itch in the dry air, but in the summer I'm usually showing to cool down so my showers are mostly in cold water. In the morning it will be luke warm at best.

but it's a compromise (like with the thermostat). Let me guess. She's always cold and you're always hot?

Back home, after a sweaty day, I look forward to having a cool shower to rinse off all the dirt and grime and sweat.... most houses in the Philippines have no way to adjust water temperature anyway and as the underground pipes are cooler than the outside temperature, most showers are with cool water. A few fancier houses and hotels have water heaters so that the water isn't so cold when you take a bath at 6am, but I liked the cold water shower to wake me up in the morning as well. Maybe that's why I never was a coffee person. Here in the UK, it's warm showers all the time. Nice and relaxing and I used to have it quite warm.... but my hair is thinning on the top now and nobody in my dad's family is bald or is thinning so the wife's theory is that the warm/hot water is causing it, so now my showers are just a little warm. Makes me spend less time in the shower too. I take warm showers. I don't think I could ever live in a third world country where stone cold showers are the norm! Isn't it warm in Florida?

Hot! Steamy showers are good for sinus issues, relaxing muscles before going to bed and helping me sleep in general. If it's a super hot day, I still start hot, but slowly turn all the way cold by the end. Plus, hot =clean in my mind.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

Man, that is just classic good TV.
Everyone was a bit "medicated" and just going with it.
